Friends Collective is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that uses its network of resources to support families and communities in need. The bulk of their administration, communication and CRM is managed via their website.

This is a major reason why the organization entrusted their online presence to our firm.

The Brief

We were tasked with developing a custom website, logo, sponsorship brochures, marketing materials and promotional media for the organizations various fundraising and community events.

Our Approach

The first step in our process wasto gain a thorough understanding of the needs and goals of Friends Collective. This involved meetings with key stakeholders to discuss the organization’s mission, target audience, branding guidelines, and the events for which the marketing materials are being developed.

After understanding the needs of the nonprofit, we started with developing a custom website that was visually appealing, user-friendly, and responsive. The website focused on their mission and values, and included information about upcoming events, donation options, and ways to get involved. A content management system (CMS) allows the Friends Collective team to easily update the website’s content.

Once the website design was underway, the next step was be to create a custom logo for the nonprofit. With input from their board, we settled on the theme of a tree, as trees convey stability, sustenance and life. This was carried throughout their entire branding. The final logo was brought a focus to the nonprofit’s mission and values, and was made to be visually appealing, easily recognizable, and versatile enough to be used on a variety of media.

We were keen on developing sponsorship brochures for potential donors and sponsors. These brochures included information about the nonprofit’s mission, upcoming events, sponsorship opportunities, and benefits for sponsors. We utilized this method to help the organization fund their events and bring in much needed operating capital.

We developed marketing materials such as posters, flyers, and social media graphics to promote the Friends Collective events. These materials were designed with a focus on the nonprofit’s mission and values, to be visually appealing and attention-grabbing to attract potential attendees and donors.

Working closely with the board, we developed media such as videos, animations, and infographics to further promote all the efforts of the Friends Collective. Since video has 10x the visibility of static media, a special emphasis was developed to draw potential donors, participants and beneficiaries of the Friends Collective.

The Results

By creating a cohesive and effective marketing strategy and implementing data-driven best practices, our firm was a key component in ensuring the success of Friends Collective in achieving its fundraising and community outreach goals.
